FairFlex Loop is built around a simple idea:
When several people contribute value to an asset over time, that value should not necessarily belong only to the person who owns the asset at the end.
We believe physical assets can be shared in a way that is more flexible and more equitable — allowing the value created through use to be progressively recognised and transferred between users over successive cycles.
FairFlex Loop establishes predefined rules for how economic rights are generated, transferred and settled throughout the life of an asset.
The aim is to create a transparent framework in which owners, users and local partners can each participate in the value created through use.
Use creates value. Cycles organise it. Rights allow that value to move.
Surfboards are where FairFlex Loop starts. But the underlying idea is broader.
The same model could potentially apply to many physical assets that people need access to for a period of time without necessarily wanting to commit to ownership — from sports gear to tool and equipment, and perhaps, one day, even real estate.
FairFlex Loop is building the foundations for a model where access, ownership and value can work together in a more flexible and equitable way.
