You don’t have to decide on day one whether you want to buy or simply use a board.
With Fairflex Loop, you can use a board while keeping both options open.
Before taking possession of the board, you provide a deposit equal to the board’s reference value.
This deposit provides financial protection for the board while it is in your care.
Your daily usage fee is deducted from this amount as you use the board.
The board’s condition is documented before you take possession of it. A condition record is created with photos and a classification of any existing damage or wear.
If you decide to keep the board, your deposit is kept as the purchase payment for the board, and the process ends.
When you return the board, its condition is checked against the condition record.
If everything is in good condition, the full amount remaining from your deposit after your usage fees have been deducted is returned to you.
If new damage is identified, the situation is documented and clearly communicated to you.
The cost of necessary repairs is deducted from your remaining deposit. If the damage also results in a loss of value to the board beyond the cost of repair, this loss in value is also taken into account.
The rest of your deposit is returned to you.
As you use the board you acquire positions within its Loop.
These positions remain associated with you after you return the board.
When your positions are later transferred to other users, the amount paid for those positions is attributed to you with 25% allocated as a system contribution to sustain and support the Loop.
